Fulton Phriends Tape Tree

Hey now!

Once again, our phriend Rich Perlman (montclair@cyburban.com) has offered up tapes for all to share. This time it's DAT tapes of Phil and Friends (including our pals Jorma and Pete) at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco, both 6/4/99 and 6/5/99. I just got the tapes, and they sound great!

Doing The Right Thing

Note: These are the shows that the recent Phil and Friends CD (available from Grateful Dead Merchandising) was made from. So some of this is already available on that CD, though there is more material here than made it onto the CD. However, please don't let the existence of this tree deter you from buying the CD. It would be a real shame if our collective trading activities had any negative effect on the artists who not only provide the music, but allow us to spread it around.

Signing Up

So, here we go, the Fulton Phriends Tape Tree. If you'd like to be on it, you can do so in one of two ways. The first, vastly preferable way is to go to http://sage.freeservers.com/Phriends/SignUp.html and fill in the form and submit it. It'll send your info to me in a consistent format that will greatly simplify putting the tree together.

If you absolutely cannot do this, then fill out the form at the end of this page and mail it to phriends@sage.freeservers.com Please send requests *only* to that address; any questions can come to me.

Signups will be open until 10/11/1999 (Brian's Birthday!).

You can use the web site at http://sage.freeservers.com/Phriends to keep up on the tree's status.

One last thing. It wouldn't hurt to drop a note to Rich Perlman and thank him for making these available. It's really nice that Rich and others make the effort to spread the music around.

Last Resort Signup form

Please use the web page unless you're terminally web-challenged, or my signup page is terminally scrogged (in which case please let me know).
